CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedSurrealDB versions prior to 3.1.5 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack, where authenticated users can exploit the system by submitting queries with excessively long chains of operators. This can lead to stack overflow during query processing, resulting in server crashes. Organizations using SurrealDB should prioritize upgrading to the latest version to mitigate this risk.

Original NVD Description
SurrealDB versions before 3.1.5 contain a denial of service vulnerability where authenticated users can crash the server with queries containing long chains of operators. Attackers can submit queries with tens of thousands of chained operators that create unbounded expression trees, causing stack overflow during query processing and aborting the entire process.
