CyberRota Analysis

AI-Generated

SurrealDB versions prior to 3.1.0 are vulnerable due to a lack of enforced recursion depth limits in the type/kind parser, allowing authenticated attackers to exploit this flaw by sending queries with deeply nested type annotations. This can lead to server memory exhaustion and process crashes, potentially disrupting service availability. Organizations using SurrealDB should prioritize this vulnerability to mitigate risks associated with denial-of-service attacks.
