SiYuan versions prior to 3.8.4 are vulnerable due to improper handling of document titles in the backlink dock tree, allowing attackers to inject malicious HTML through the rename API or crafted notebooks. This flaw enables the execution of arbitrary scripts in the Electron renderer, potentially leading to command execution on the host system. Organizations using SiYuan should prioritize patching to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
