CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedA vulnerability in the Linux kernel affects the mt76 Wi-Fi driver, specifically in the handling of channel contexts during rapid channel switches across different radio bands. This flaw could lead to improper channel context management, potentially resulting in degraded network performance or connectivity issues. Linux system administrators and developers utilizing the mt76 driver should prioritize applying the fix to ensure stable and reliable wireless communication.
Original NVD Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: fix handling channel context with different bands in mt76_switch_vif_chanctx() When performing channel switches on different radios within a short timeframe, channel contexts with different bands can be carried for each struct ieee80211_vif_chanctx_switch. Rework mt76_switch_vif_chanctx() to properly handle this scenario.
