CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedWebstudio versions up to 0.296.0 are vulnerable to an unauthenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) that can be exploited via the /cgi/image, /cgi/video, and /cgi/asset proxy routes when the RESIZE_ORIGIN environment variable is not set. This vulnerability allows attackers to send arbitrary URLs, potentially exposing sensitive cloud instance metadata, accessing internal services, and conducting network reconnaissance. Organizations using affected versions should prioritize patching to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access and data exposure.

Original NVD Description
Webstudio through 0.296.0 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the /cgi/image, /cgi/video, and /cgi/asset proxy routes when RESIZE_ORIGIN environment variable is unset. Attackers can supply arbitrary URLs to these endpoints to read cloud instance metadata, access internal services, and perform network reconnaissance on the instance infrastructure.
