CyberRota Analysis

AI-Generated

Rejetto HFS versions 3.0.0 to 3.2.0 are vulnerable due to inadequate escaping of file names in the fallback "basic" web listing, which can be triggered by appending the ?get=basic parameter in a browser. This flaw allows users with upload permissions, or anonymous users on servers with open upload folders, to upload files containing malicious scripts that execute in the browsers of anyone accessing the listing. Organizations using these versions should prioritize patching to mitigate the risk of cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

Original NVD Description

Rejetto HFS 3.0.0 through 3.2.0 does not escape file names in its fallback "basic" web listing, and this listing can be forced by any browser via the ?get=basic parameter. A user with upload permission - or an anonymous user on servers with an open upload folder - can store a file whose name contains script that executes in the browser of anyone viewing the listing.
