CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedThis vulnerability affects software running as a non-privileged user that improperly validates array indices, allowing for out-of-bounds (OOB) read access to kernel memory and potentially leading to use-after-free (UAF) conditions of arbitrary GPU pages. The impact could compromise system integrity and confidentiality, making it critical for developers and system administrators managing GPU resources to prioritize mitigation efforts. Organizations utilizing affected software should assess their systems for exposure and implement necessary patches or workarounds.
Original NVD Description
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to cause OOB read kernel memory access and in certain cases cause GPU UAF of arbitrary pages. Incorrect validation of array index can lead to OOB read and potentially to GPU UAF of arbitrary pages.
