Apache Nutch versions 1.10 through 1.22 are vulnerable to an authorization flaw that allows attackers to exploit externally-controlled input, potentially leading to unsafe reflection and unauthorized access to sensitive components. The impact includes the risk of unauthorized code execution, which could compromise the integrity of the Nutch Server. Organizations using affected versions should prioritize upgrading to version 1.23 or, if an upgrade is not feasible, restrict access to the Nutch Service to trusted users only.
