CyberRota Analysis

AI-Generated

A vulnerability exists in the Modem component that allows for an out-of-bounds write due to inadequate bounds checking, potentially enabling remote privilege escalation when a user equipment (UE) connects to a malicious base station. Exploitation does not require user interaction, making it a significant risk for devices in environments where rogue base stations may be present. Organizations utilizing affected modem technologies should prioritize patching to mitigate this security risk.
