CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedMultiple WordPress plugins, including BlogVault Backup & Staging, MalCare Security, and WP Remote, prior to version 6.65, are vulnerable due to inadequate protection against unauthenticated access to sensitive data and the use of a weak pseudo-random number generator for generating site secrets. This flaw allows attackers to recover the secret, potentially granting them administrative access to affected sites. WordPress site administrators using these plugins should prioritize updates to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access and potential site compromise.
