CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedFreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.1 are vulnerable to an assertion flaw in the urb_isoch_transfer function, which can be exploited by malicious RDP servers to crash client applications. By sending an unvalidated OutputBufferSize value exceeding INT32_MAX, attackers can trigger a termination of the client through the libusb_udev_isoch_transfer assertion. Organizations using affected versions of FreeRDP should prioritize patching to mitigate potential disruptions from this low-severity vulnerability.

Original NVD Description
FreeRDP 3.11.0 before 3.32.1 contains a reachable assertion vulnerability in urb_isoch_transfer that allows malicious RDP servers to crash clients by sending unvalidated OutputBufferSize values. Attackers can send a TS_URB_ISOCH_TRANSFER IN-direction request with OutputBufferSize above INT32_MAX over URBDRC, triggering an assertion in libusb_udev_isoch_transfer that terminates the client.
