CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedOpenClaw versions prior to 2026.8.1 are vulnerable due to inadequate access restrictions on operator command cron jobs, enabling unauthorized model-visible agents to read and execute these jobs. This flaw allows attackers to inspect environment variables and execute potentially harmful commands, leading to unauthorized access to sensitive information. Organizations using affected versions should prioritize patching to mitigate the risk of exploitation and protect their operational integrity.

Original NVD Description
OpenClaw versions before 2026.8.1 fail to properly restrict access to operator command cron jobs, allowing model-visible agent callers to read and execute ownerless command jobs. Attackers can inspect stored environment variables and force-run disabled or unscheduled command jobs to access secrets and execute operator-authored commands.
