CyberRota Analysis
AI-GeneratedPalo Alto Networks PAN-OS software is vulnerable to multiple denial of service (DoS) attacks that can be exploited by unauthenticated attackers with network access, allowing them to disrupt service by sending specially crafted traffic to the dataplane interface. This can lead to the firewall entering maintenance mode, significantly impacting network availability. Organizations using affected versions of PAN-OS should prioritize patching to mitigate the risk of service disruption.
Original NVD Description
Multiple denial of service vulnerabilities in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OSĀ® software allow an unauthenticated attacker with network access to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by sending specially crafted network traffic to or through a dataplane interface. Repeated attempts to trigger this condition result in the firewall entering maintenance mode. Panorama is not impacted by these vulnerabilities.
