In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atlantic: fix fragment overflow handling in RX path The atlantic driver can receive packets with more than MAX_SKB_FRAGS (17) fragments when handling large multi-descriptor packets. This causes an out-of-bounds write in skb_add_rx_frag_netmem() leading to kernel panic. The issue occurs because the driver doesn't check the total number of fragments before calling skb_add_rx_frag(). When a packet requires more than MAX_SKB_FRAGS fragments, the fragment index exceeds the array bounds. Fix by assuming there will be an extra frag if buff->len > AQ_CFG_RX_HDR_SIZE, then all fragments are accounted for. And reusing the existing check to prevent the overflow earlier in the code path. This crash occurred in production with an Aquantia AQC113 10G NIC. Stack trace from production environment: ``` RIP: 0010:skb_add_rx_frag_netmem+0x29/0xd0 Code: 90 f3 0f 1e fa 0f 1f 44 00 00 48 89 f8 41 89 ca 48 89 d7 48 63 ce 8b 90 c0 00 00 00 48 c1 e1 04 48 01 ca 48 03 90 c8 00 00 00 <48> 89 7a 30 44 89 52 3c 44 89 42 38 40 f6 c7 01 75 74 48 89 fa 83 RSP: 0018:ffffa9bec02a8d50 EFLAGS: 00010287 RAX: ffff925b22e80a00 RBX: ffff925ad38d2700 RCX: fffffffe0a0c8000 RDX: ffff9258ea95bac0 RSI: ffff925ae0a0c800 RDI: 0000000000037a40 RBP: 0000000000000024 R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000021 R10: 0000000000000848 R11: 0000000000000000 R12: ffffa9bec02a8e24 R13: ffff925ad8615570 R14: 0000000000000000 R15: ffff925b22e80a00 FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff925e47880000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: ffff9258ea95baf0 CR3: 0000000166022004 CR4: 0000000000f72ef0 PKRU: 55555554 Call Trace: <IRQ> aq_ring_rx_clean+0x175/0xe60 [atlantic] ? aq_ring_rx_clean+0x14d/0xe60 [atlantic] ? aq_ring_tx_clean+0xdf/0x190 [atlantic] ? kmem_cache_free+0x348/0x450 ? aq_vec_poll+0x81/0x1d0 [atlantic] ? __napi_poll+0x28/0x1c0 ? net_rx_action+0x337/0x420 ``` Changes in v4: - Add Fixes: tag to satisfy patch validation requirements. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix potential use-after-free in have_mon_and_osd_map() The wait loop in __ceph_open_session() can race with the client receiving a new monmap or osdmap shortly after the initial map is received. Both ceph_monc_handle_map() and handle_one_map() install a new map immediately after freeing the old one kfree(monc->monmap); monc->monmap = monmap; ceph_osdmap_destroy(osdc->osdmap); osdc->osdmap = newmap; under client->monc.mutex and client->osdc.lock respectively, but because neither is taken in have_mon_and_osd_map() it's possible for client->monc.monmap->epoch and client->osdc.osdmap->epoch arms in client->monc.monmap && client->monc.monmap->epoch && client->osdc.osdmap && client->osdc.osdmap->epoch; condition to dereference an already freed map. While at it, improve the timeout handling (previously mount_timeout could be exceeded in case wait_event_interruptible_timeout() slept more than once) and access client->auth_err under client->monc.mutex to match how it's set in finish_auth(). monmap_show() and osdmap_show() now take the respective lock before accessing the map as well.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: ipc: fix use-after-free in ipc_msg_send_request ipc_msg_send_request() waits for a generic netlink reply using an ipc_msg_table_entry on the stack. The generic netlink handler (handle_generic_event()/handle_response()) fills entry->response under ipc_msg_table_lock, but ipc_msg_send_request() used to validate and free entry->response without holding the same lock. Under high concurrency this allows a race where handle_response() is copying data into entry->response while ipc_msg_send_request() has just freed it, leading to a slab-use-after-free reported by KASAN in handle_generic_event(): BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in handle_generic_event+0x3c4/0x5f0 [ksmbd] Write of size 12 at addr ffff888198ee6e20 by task pool/109349 ... Freed by task: kvfree ipc_msg_send_request [ksmbd] ksmbd_rpc_open -> ksmbd_session_rpc_open [ksmbd] Fix by: - Taking ipc_msg_table_lock in ipc_msg_send_request() while validating entry->response, freeing it when invalid, and removing the entry from ipc_msg_table. - Returning the final entry->response pointer to the caller only after the hash entry is removed under the lock. - Returning NULL in the error path, preserving the original API semantics. This makes all accesses to entry->response consistent with handle_response(), which already updates and fills the response buffer under ipc_msg_table_lock, and closes the race that allowed the UAF.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: qmi_wwan: initialize MAC header offset in qmimux_rx_fixup Raw IP packets have no MAC header, leaving skb->mac_header uninitialized. This can trigger kernel panics on ARM64 when xfrm or other subsystems access the offset due to strict alignment checks. Initialize the MAC header to prevent such crashes. This can trigger kernel panics on ARM when running IPsec over the qmimux0 interface. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: RX, Fix generating skb from non-linear xdp_buff for striding RQ XDP programs can change the layout of an xdp_buff through bpf_xdp_adjust_tail() and bpf_xdp_adjust_head(). Therefore, the driver cannot assume the size of the linear data area nor fragments. Fix the bug in mlx5 by generating skb according to xdp_buff after XDP programs run. Currently, when handling multi-buf XDP, the mlx5 driver assumes the layout of an xdp_buff to be unchanged. That is, the linear data area continues to be empty and fragments remain the same. This may cause the driver to generate erroneous skb or triggering a kernel warning. When an XDP program added linear data through bpf_xdp_adjust_head(), the linear data will be ignored as mlx5e_build_linear_skb() builds an skb without linear data and then pull data from fragments to fill the linear data area. When an XDP program has shrunk the non-linear data through bpf_xdp_adjust_tail(), the delta passed to __pskb_pull_tail() may exceed the actual nonlinear data size and trigger the BUG_ON in it. To fix the issue, first record the original number of fragments. If the number of fragments changes after the XDP program runs, rewind the end fragment pointer by the difference and recalculate the truesize. Then, build the skb with the linear data area matching the xdp_buff. Finally, only pull data in if there is non-linear data and fill the linear part up to 256 bytes.

DeepChat is an open-source artificial intelligence agent platform that unifies models, tools, and agents. Prior to version 0.5.3, a security vulnerability exists in the Mermaid diagram rendering component that allows arbitrary JavaScript execution. Due to the exposure of the Electron IPC renderer to the DOM, this Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw escalates to full Remote Code Execution (RCE), allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary system commands. Two concurrent issues, unsafe Mermaid configuration and an exposed IPC interface, cause this issue. Version 0.5.3 contains a patch.

The Fox LMS – WordPress LMS Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.5.1. This is due to the plugin not properly validating the 'role' parameter when creating new users via the `/fox-lms/v1/payments/create-order` REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create new user accounts with arbitrary roles, including administrator, leading to complete site compromise.
