| Exploit 2mo ago | 8 | A security agent manual scan command injection vulnerability in the Trend Micro Deep Security 20 Agent could allow an attacker to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code on an affected machine. In certain circumstances, attackers that have legitimate access to the domain may be able to remotely inject commands to other machines in the same domain. Please note: an attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability locally and must have domain user privileges to affect other machines. |
| Exploit 2mo ago | 8.8 | This High severity RCE (Remote Code Execution) vulnerability was introduced in versions 4.2.8 of Sourcetree for Mac and 3.4.19 for Sourcetree for Windows. This RCE (Remote Code Execution) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.8, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code which has high impact to confidentiality, high impact to integrity, high impact to availability, and requires user interaction. Atlassian recommends that Sourcetree for Mac and Sourcetree for Windows customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions: Sourcetree for Mac 4.2: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 4.2.9 Sourcetree for Windows 3.4: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 3.4.20 See the release notes ([https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/download-archives]). | 2mo ago | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: s5p-jpeg: prevent buffer overflows The current logic allows word to be less than 2. If this happens, there will be buffer overflows, as reported by smatch. Add extra checks to prevent it. While here, remove an unused word = 0 assignment. |
| 2mo ago | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: Fix response handling in iwl_mvm_send_recovery_cmd() 1. The size of the response packet is not validated. 2. The response buffer is not freed. Resolve these issues by switching to iwl_mvm_send_cmd_status(), which handles both size validation and frees the buffer. |
| 2mo ago | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: stop qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog on TC_H_ROOT In qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog, Qdiscs with major handle ffff: are assumed to be either root or ingress. This assumption is bogus since it's valid to create egress qdiscs with major handle ffff: Budimir Markovic found that for qdiscs like DRR that maintain an active class list, it will cause a UAF with a dangling class pointer. In 066a3b5b2346, the concern was to avoid iterating over the ingress qdisc since its parent is itself. The proper fix is to stop when parent TC_H_ROOT is reached because the only way to retrieve ingress is when a hierarchy which does not contain a ffff: major handle call into qdisc_lookup with TC_H_MAJ(TC_H_ROOT). In the scenario where major ffff: is an egress qdisc in any of the tree levels, the updates will also propagate to TC_H_ROOT, which then the iteration must stop. net/sched/sch_api.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) |
| Exploit 2mo ago | 7.8 | Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code as root by tricking needrestart into running the Ruby interpreter with an attacker-controlled RUBYLIB environment variable. |
| Exploit 2mo ago | 7.8 | Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code as root by winning a race condition and tricking needrestart into running their own, fake Python interpreter (instead of the system's real Python interpreter). The initial security fix (6ce6136) introduced a regression which was subsequently resolved (42af5d3). |
| Exploit 2mo ago | 7.8 | Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code as root by tricking needrestart into running the Python interpreter with an attacker-controlled PYTHONPATH environment variable. |
| Exploit 2mo ago | 7.8 | Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, passes unsanitized data to a library (Modules::ScanDeps) which expects safe input. This could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands. Please see the related CVE-2024-10224 in Modules::ScanDeps. |
